“Meditation is to be aware of every thought and of every feeling, never to say it is right or wrong, but just to watch it and move with it. In that watching, you begin to understand the whole movement of thought and feeling. And out of this awareness comes silence.” -Jiddu Krishnamurti
Are you feeling anxious, or agitated? Full of negativity in your life? Cannot focus fully on your daily tasks? Or cannot do any activity due to a mind-blowing job? Are you feeling down to your everyday dilemmas? Are you a writer and currently facing a writer’s block and losing any ideas to write?
Pause for a minute and relax. You will need a comfortable place to begin your meditation practice and a willingness to change. Mental focus is so hard to achieve especially if you are experiencing a lot of problems in life. You cannot meditate if you are heavily distracted in life.
There are numerous ways to relax and keep your mental focus on hand.
If you are in your work office you need to look for a comfortable place to stay. If you are on a beach having you vacation, just look for a relaxing place where you can view the sea alone. Enjoy watching the dazzling views of the beach. You can also listen to a relaxing music and light a relaxing scented candle inside your room.
Keep this quote in mind: “Never continue in a job you don’t enjoy. If you’re happy in what you’re doing, you’ll like yourself, you’ll have inner peace. And if you have that, along with physical health, you will have had more success than you could possibly have imagined.” -Johnny Carson
Power of Meditation
The powerful one-minute meditation you can do anytime, anywhere and even on your work desk, is to listen to a relaxing music and close your eyes. Inhale slowly for 5 seconds and exhale. Massage your head for at least 20-30 seconds. If you have a mint inhaler you can also use it. Inhale using your mint inhaler for 5 seconds.
“To attain inner peace you must actually give your life, not just your possessions. When you, at last, give your life – bringing into alignment your beliefs and the way you live then, and only then, can you begin to find inner peace.” -Peace Pilgrim
You need to slowly breathe fresh air and exhale your negative thoughts and keep yourself focus on your inner core to attain an ultimate inner peace. “Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is, therefore, the means for correcting our misperceptions.” – Gerald Jampolsky
A few mindful moments scattered throughout your day enable you to sustain yourself without depletion or exhaustion.
“Desire is the key to motivation, but its determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal – a commitment to excellence – that will enable you to attain the success you seek.” -Mario Andretti
